In 1925, the beautiful fieldstone Sacred Heart Church was built, and in 1929, the landmark Stations of the Cross and the small chapel shrine on the hill overlooking Lebret were placed. Loved this drive in the Qu'appelle Valley from May 15th this year! Ellisboro is a small village nestled in the Qu'appelle Valley, Wolseley is 15 kilometers south of this area. Ellisboro was established in 1883 and was home to the first rural high school in Saskatchewan, an Anglican and a United Church, and a small collection of houses. The Little Church in the Qu'appelle Valley. The St. Nicholas Kennel Anglican Church is a Municipal Heritage Property located 10 km northeast of the Village of Craven. I loved how the clouds were; they were so puffy and the sky was so blue! You can see the reflection of the clouds below. Everything around the beautiful church accented nicely!
