The recent relaunch of Locomotive 3001 was a momentous occasion for volunteers, staff and members of Transport Heritage NSW. The loco was officially unveiled last week at the NSW Rail Museum by Member for Wollondilly, Nathaniel Smith MP, before heading on its inaugural service. 3001 will now provide return services on the Loop Line every weekend from Thirlmere to Buxton.
