A day after Anchor Brewing announced it would cease operations, Bevmo said Anchor sales were up 4,000% nationally. Closer to home, Anchor Public Taps (which will shutter at the end of July) had a line that extended outside of the building just minutes after opening as a stream of beer drinkers waited to buy leftover merch, specialty bottles and 24-can racks of Anchor’s last-ever Christmas ale.
