⚾️On June 12, 1990 the New York Mets routed the Chicago Cubs 19-8 at Wrigley Field. The real entertainment came in the 9th inning when Cubs outfielder Doug Dascenzo took the mound for Chicago. Surprisingly, Dascenzo faced the fewest batters a Cubs pitcher had faced all day while pitching a scoreless inning.
