📍Democratic Republic Congo | Between January and March 2024, hundreds of families have fled armed violence in the Rutshuru, Masisi, and Walikale territories, and have settled in Kanyabayonga, north of North Kivu Province. Several children were separated from their families and lost when fleeing the violence. Health facilities are struggling to cope with the needs of the influx of displaced people.
