We recently asked you to leave fawns in the wild, after a member of the public took a fawn home. The fawn had been taken home and fed for three days before we were contacted. Another fawn came in to our care just one day after we put out the appeal. Trying to pet and comfort deer leads to more stress. These fawns were so distressed that they heartbreakingly did not survive. Fawns are wild animals, not domesticated pets. If you think a fawn needs help do not take them home. Be part of the rescue
