September 5, 1985: University of Florida quarterback Kerwin Bell throws 4 touchdown passes, including 2 in the 4th quarter to Ricky Nattiel and Frankie Neal, to lead the Gators to a 35-23 victory over the Miami Hurricanes in front of a then record crowd of 80,277 at the Orange Bowl. The Canes would not lose another home game for 9 years--a win streak that would last 58 games. It was the only time Miami wore all-orange uniforms during the Jimmy Johnson era.
