Police in Michigan used a "grappler" to apprehend a suspect in a stolen vehicle, bringing a high-speed chase to an end. The officers deployed the new technology, which wraps around a car's rear tires, causing the back axle to rip off when the suspect tried to continue fleeing. Grappler technology offers law enforcement a new way to safely stop vehicle pursuits.
