Experts say the U.S. deal for majority control of 60 billion barrels of #oil in #Venezuela is likely to only be a short-term fix for high #gasprices, which have been elevated by the war with Iran. Venezuela will retain ownership over its resources, the country’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez said over the weekend, and stands to make $209 billion in revenue.
