Meralgia paraesthetica - Ein Überblick 🤔 Meralgia paraesthetica (MP, auch Bernhardt-Roth-Syndrom) ist ein Kompressionssyndrom des N. cutaneus femoris lateralis (engl. lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, LFCN). Dieses Symptombild ist durch Parästhesien und Schmerz im anterolateralen Oberschenkel charakterisiert. Es handelt sich dabei um eine rein sensorische Mononeuropathie, also die Schädigung eines einzelnen Nervs. 💡 Risikofaktoren: - direktes Trauma - Diabetes (etwas 7,5-fach erhöhtes Risiko)
