NFR Partners released the first Windows version of editNC in 1993. Since then, seven major revisions, several OEM versions, and dozens of minor revisions have been produced.

This update adds a Scripting function to editNC. Scripts are short programs that can access files within the editor to automate repetitive tasks or add new capabilities.

EditNC helps you convert between CNC program formats and controllers. The image shows a Fanuc program conversion from R-word arcs to I and J center definitions.

A single copy of editNC can be accessed by multiple computers on a network but each editor must have a license. Floating licenses only need the server to have a license file.
