Lansing is activating its Code Red Extreme Heat Weather Plan to help residents stay safe during the upcoming heat wave.

Jackson Public Schools Board of Education voted Tuesday to remove Trustee Derek Dobies as Board VP and bar him from any Board office for the duration of his term.
