Javier Mascherano was shown a red card during Inter Miami's win over Tigres in the Leagues Cup. However, he was later seen speaking with his assistants over the phone, and the competition is now addressing the controversy.

The 2025 Leagues Cup quarterfinals delivered drama and goals, setting up an all-MLS semifinal stage for the first time in the tournament’s history, leaving Liga MX out of the final stretch.

The MLS summer transfer window is drawing to a close and Inter Miami are still working on bringing more reinforcements.
