Dilophosaurus, the careful predator with its phenomenal frilled neckwear and dastardly little chirps and "whee" calls, turns up in Jurassic World Rebirth on Ile Saint-Hubert, the InGen facility used to develop dinosaurs for the original park.

While far from an uneven franchise’s worst, “Jurassic World Rebirth” has a peculiar sense of pacing and a grim endurance-test tone.

“Jurassic World Rebirth” has nods to the past even as it cuts a new future with new characters. It’s a sort of heist movie with monsters that’s set on the original decaying island research facility for the original, abandoned Jurassic Park.
