Former District Attorney Jackie Johnson cleared of legal wrongdoing in the investigation of Ahmaud Arbery's murder following a judge dismissing two charges against her near the end of her Glynn County trial.

A Georgia judge has dismissed a felony case against former Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney Jackie Johnson. She was accused of hindering the investigation into the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.

Judge ruled to dismiss one criminal count against Jackie Johnson, the former Brunswick-circuit district attorney accused of improperly influencing the investigation into Ahmaud Arbery's death. The judge said prosecutors failed to present evidence Johnson obstructed Glynn County Police officers.
