Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha will be out for a few weeks after sustaining a knee injury, interim manager Mike Tullberg said ahead of Wednesday's Champions League home clash against Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Bundesliga side have also recalled Turkey defensive midfielder Salih Ozcan from his loan spell at Wolfsburg to help cover for Nmecha

Borussia Dortmund will be without key player Felix Nmecha for their last Champions League match in the league stage against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday. Interim coach Mike Tullberg said on Tuesday that Nmecha will be "out for several weeks" with a knee injury.

Nmecha suffered damage to his knee ligaments after a challenge and was subbed out 12 minutes into Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with Werder Bremen.

According to Bild, Dortmund will react to the injury by recalling Salih Özcan from his loan spell at VfL Wolfsburg to provide cover in defensive midfield. All parties are said to have agreed to cut the loan short, with only the signatures missing.
