Zobrist's two-run double with one out in the 15th inning sparked the Cubs to a 6-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. It wasn't until the late innings that Zobrist entered the game.

Since the team's inaugural season in 2022, Colt the Bat Dog has zoomed onto the diamond to retrieve bats for Lake Country DockHounds players.

The Chicago Cubs lost 8-6 to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday at Wrigley Field, but Pete Crow-Armstrong stepped up with a thank-you speech to ballpark workers.

Crow-Armstrong wasn’t the first player to offer his thanks to the workers. Some remembered Patrick Wisdom and Ben Zobrist doing likewise as Cubs.
