Over 20 people fell ill from consuming raw milk sold in Florida, according to a bulletin from the Florida Department of Health.
So far this year, the state reports 7 infections caused by vibrio vulnificus, often called flesh-eating bacteria, and more than 50 likely infections with other strains of vibrio bacteria.
An outbreak of E. coli in Florida was linked to raw milk from a particular farm, health officials said. Of more than 20 cases, six are children under age 10.
Twenty-one people, including six children under the age of 10, were sickened after consuming raw milk from the same Florida farm, according to the state Department of Health.
