The tractor trailer was still on its side in the roadway of S.C. 170 as of 6 p.m. Wednesday, causing major traffic hiccups for commuters going between Beaufort, Bluffton and Jasper County.

The victims were changing a flat tire when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Robert Lynn Faison Jr., Greensboro police said.
