The humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens as 85 Palestinians were killed while trying to access food amid new Israeli evacuation orders. Aid efforts faced violence, leading to over 150 injuries.

With Gaza’s water and sanitation systems decimated by months of war and Israel continuing to block fuel and infrastructure repairs, clean water is in short supply for over 2 million displaced Palestinians.

In northern Gaza, at least 67 people were killed near the Zikim crossing when an Israeli strike hit crowds gathering for aid. Another six people were killed near a separate distribution site in the south. The day before, 36 Palestinians were killed in similar circumstances.
