North Korea denounced the U.S. attack on Iran as a violation of the territorial integrity of a sovereign state and accused Washington and Israel of sowing global instability, in a statement issued Monday by state media.

SEOUL (Reuters) -North Korea said on Monday it strongly condemns the U.S. strike against Iran as a grave violation of a sovereign state's security interests and territorial rights, the North's state media reported.

A senior Iranian parliamentarian said the Islamic Republic was considering withdrawal from the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
