Steak ‘n Shake has fired back at Cracker Barrel, accusing the company of eliminating its heritage with its new, controversial logo.

Cracker Barrel’s decision to update its menu, redesign its restaurant interior and change its logo has caused outrage across the country. In particular, company co-founder Jack Lowery fears the changes could disrupt its future.

In a separate X post, conservative lawyer and Fox News talking head Phil Holloway compared Cracker Barrel’s logo redesign to Bud Light’s one-off 2023 social media collab with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, which drew intense anti-trans backlash and calls for a conservative boycott of parent company Anheuser-Busch.
