Ryder Lyons, 5-Star QB, Commits to BYU Over Oregon, More in Pat McAfee Show Video
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Ryder Lyons committed to the Cougars on Tuesday, choosing BYU over Oregon, USC, Ole Miss and more. Lyons explained that he will not be playing for BYU as a true freshman because he will spend the year serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"We had guys come to me saying, 'Coach, I need to know I’m the starter.' And I said, 'Be the starter. Earn it,'" Hill said.
