A Georgia father and son were killed Sunday evening when their golf cart was struck by a falling tree during a storm.

Matthew Terrell Collins Sr., 58, and Matthew Terrell Collins Jr., 29, were crushed when a tree fell on their golf cart at the Bull Creek Golf Course.

The coroner said when a storm hit the golf course, the victims took cover under a tree while in their golf cart. The storm caused that tree to fall on top of their golf cart, crushing both of them.
