The Grammys named Beyoncé's “Cowboy Carter” album of the year on Sunday, filling one of the few remaining gaps in her otherwise legedary career.

The pop superstar, whose latest release, “Cowboy Carter,” won album of the year at the Grammys on Sunday night, will perform 22 dates starting in April.

Cowboy Carter, which was released in March 2024, was not only a historic effort for the singer, but it also put a spotlight on other Black artists in the country music space. A genre that Beyoncé has been open about not feeling “welcomed” in after facing criticisms when she initially tried to enter the country music scene years prior.
