Coast Guard warns of unpredictable ice on Munising Bay after people, snowmobiles went throughMUNISING, MI -- The Coast Guard is warning of unpredictable ice off of Lake Superior where several people and snowmobile sleds have gone through. In the last 10 days, several calls of people going through the ice have come in to the U.S. Coast Guard Station Marquette, which covers Salmon Trout Bay to Grand Marais.
The Coast Guard started transporting migrants since late January and handed them off to the Air Force to conduct international deportation flights.
