BRONX - A man was attacked by another man with a machete in the Bronx overnight Saturday, according to police. Police say the 34-year-old was struck in the hand by an unknown individual near 2001 Southern Boulevard. The man sustained four severed fingers on his left hand before the attacker fled the scene.

A machete-wielding man became so enraged when a dog began barking at his smaller pup, he threatened to behead the larger canine — and slashed the owner’s fingers off, cops said.
