Kansas City, Kansas police were investigating a homicide Wednesday morning. Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of S Valley Road around 2:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they said they found a man dead inside a home.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Around 2:30 Wednesday morning, Jan. 22, Kansas City, Kansas police responded to calls from a home reporting a man shot and killed. The house sits due east of the 18th Street Expressway and Metropolitan Ave. and just south of the Kaw River. Upon arrival, the man was found shot and killed inside the home.

A Kansas man accused of human trafficking has been found and arrested in Kansas City, Missouri, as he now awaits extradition.
