A JetBlue passenger is going viral on TikTok after sharing the seemingly bizarre message their pilot shared ahead of a three-hour flight. User @fatcatbx_ says they were on a JetBlue flight from Florida to New York when their pilot made an announcement.

TikTok content creator Desiree Salter went viral after she uploaded a video of her anointing a JetBlue plane with holy water.

A Florida woman whose stepfather is a pastor used blessed oil on two planes she recently traveled on to protect herself and all those on board, she said.

Before boarding a JetBlue flight, a Florida woman poured a small amount of oil into her hands and rubbed it on the plane in a cross shape, a video shows.

With 98 aviation accidents reported so far in 2025, it’s no surprise that flight-safety is at the top of every American’s mind. Taking this into account, one woman claims that airlines may have taken note, dropping airfare prices drastically. “They are selling tickets to heaven,” her audience jokes.
