Members of the San Antonio Figure Skating Club are honoring the victims of the midair collision between a plane and a military helicopter in Washington, D.C. 28 members of a skating community died in the crash.

Several of the victims were part of the U.S. Figure Skating team. Their deaths hit close to home for members of the ice-skating community nationwide. A little outside Charlotte, in Indian Trail, a moment of silence was held for the ice-skating victims.
