Rafael Devers hit his first home run for the Giants, connecting against his former Boston Red Sox team just six days after being traded to San Francisco.

On Friday night, less than a week after the Boston Red Sox shocked the baseball world by trading star Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants, the two teams met to kick off a three-game weekend series.

For the Red Sox it’s righty Brayan Bello, a righty who makes his 12th start of the season. Bello, a 26-year old in his fourth season, is 3-1 with a 3.49 ERA, a 4.27 FIP, and 45 strikeouts to 28 walks in 59.1 innings. Unlike Roupp, Bello is coming off a spectacular outing, in which he tossed seven shutout innings against the New York Yankees.
