Boston is reportedly trading its reserve guard and a 2030 second-round pick to Houston for a second-round pick.

The Celtics kicked off their own dealing on trade deadline week on Wednesday by shipping away guard Jaden Springer with a 2030 second-round pick to the Houston Rockets in exchange for a top-55 protected second round pick, a source confirmed to MassLive. The Celtics will also swap a pair of protected second-round picks with the Rockets.
