United Airlines Mileage Plus members will earn fewer miles per dollar in April 2026, unless they have this product from United Airlines and Chase Bank.

United Airlines (NASDAQ:UAL) shares fell about 3% on Thursday morning after the carrier unveiled changes to its MileagePlus rewards program. Management said the revamp will reward travelers who use the airline's co-branded credit cards.

United Airlines said 2026 is off to a strong start, both for premium seats and no-frills tickets, as it reported fourth-quarter earnings.

Once again, American Airlines led the way in flight disruptions, with 837 delays on Sunday. United Airlines also saw an increase in delays with 620, impacting 21% of its flights. The airline also had 19 cancellations, far lower than Delta Air Lines.
