Technology has transformed our world, but skills in speech and debate retain their value, writes Sen. Chuck Grassley.

The advocacy group Speech First is trying to shut down "bias response" programs at Indiana University and elsewhere they say chill students' speech.

That mission begins in our communities, and it continues in speech and debate clubs across this country. I encourage Iowans interested in starting a speech and debate team to reach out to NSDA.
