A Terre Hill Couple are facing criminal charges after their emaciated, three-legged pitbull was brought to the Pet Emergency Treatment and Specialties in Lancaster, according to police.

Two Silver Springs residents were arrested Thursday and face 133 counts of animal cruelty, according to a news release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

PIEDMONT — Two Piedmont residents have been arrested and charged with cruelty to animals in the Second Degree.

Silver Springs residents John Comellas and Kimberly Comellas were arrested on 133 counts of animal cruelty, having an excessive amount of dogs, failure to license dogs, and failure to immunize animals. Their total bail is $135,205 each.
