Do the Auburn Tigers play in Week 12 of the college football season?

It’s finally happening. Notre Dame fans will be able to cross Auburn off the list of teams the Irish haven’t played. From the ND press release:

Notre Dame's addition amplifies a presumed gauntlet for Auburn under the SEC's new scheduling model. The Tigers are hosting Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas A&M in 2027, as well as traveling to Texas. In 2028, they'll make a quartet of daunting road trips, heading to Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU.

This will be the first gridiron meeting between Auburn and the Fighting Irish; the two squads have met once before in both men's and women's basketball. In addition to the Tigers, Notre Dame has yet to play Kentucky and Mississippi State in football.
