Texas Longhorns football lineman Nick Brooks, the protector for Arch Manning, returns to practice after injury.

The Manning Award released its 2025 watch list list this week, and it includes some of the top names in college football such as Penn State's Drew Allar and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier. However, there was one notable quarterback missing: Arch Manning of the Texas Longhorns.

In the glimpses that Texas fans got of Manning, they saw a quarterback with a big arm that isn't afraid to air it out, and also someone who is a great athlete that can hurt defenses with his feet. The first game of the Manning era will take place on Aug. 30 against No. 3 Ohio State.
