A week after shocking mass shooting outside River North lounge, links to city’s worst gang feud have surfaced again.

The drive-by shooting apparently happened as people left Artis Lounge nightclub following an album release party for rapper Mello Buckzz.

Police said the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 83rd Street in the Avalon Park neighborhood. Smith and a 35-year-old man were approached by an unknown man who pulled out a gun and shot at them.

Police said a quarrel broke out among a group of women at 1:13 a.m. Thursday, May 15​, and a man approached, pulled out a gun, and shot one of the women twice.
