It stands to reason that the New York Jets, bereft of a good idea in Woody Johnson, would even consider a Rex Ryan sequel.

Rex Ryan entered the ring for the New York Jets’ search of a head coach during the 2025 NFL offseason. Mostly because of his own accord so far to this point. Earlier this week, Ryan appeared on ESPN Radio and was asked if he expects to talk to the team. The former Jets head coach said yes he does.

Former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan says he expects that he is going to be called in to discuss returning to the team in their search for a new HC.
