Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, who won the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore seven times, died on Saturday night, his family said.

His 15 Triple Crown victories, including a record six consecutive wins from 1994 to 1996, are second only to those of Bob Baffert.
