A year ago, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields were the two top quarterbacks at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp vying for the starting job.

The Jets topped the Green Bay Packers in their 2025 NFL preseason opener to the tune of a 30-10 final. Fields only played one series but made it count. He was 3-for-4 passing for 42 yards. He rushed in a touchdown to cap the drive. Head coach Aaron Glenn was left impressed.

Over the next couple of days, I’m going to try and highlight some significant Justin Fields plays from the preseason opener against the Packers. Fields’ first passing attempt of the game came on a third and five play.
