Hayley Atwell has offered her thoughts on the future of action franchise Mission: Impossible, ahead of the release of the eighth installment, The Final Reckoning, this year. Atwell stars opposite Cruise in the forthcoming film as Grace, a former thief turned IMF agent and ally to his character, Ethan Hunt.

Atwell told The Guardian newspaper that improvisation by the cast was encouraged on the Mission: Impossible set – she came up with the idea of her character Grace being a pickpocket, which was incorporated into the script. Audiences of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One saw Cruise plunge over a cliff on his bike and Atwell explained:

Impossible - The Final Reckoning are not in question. We can be fairly confident that the film will include some incredible action sequences and that Tom Cruise will risk to life doing insane things.

It is pretty well-known that some historical areas in Essex have been used for some big blockbuster movies. For example, Wonder Woman was filmed in Tilbury, and some of The Crown was filmed in Chelmsford.
