On Tuesday at 5:19 p.m. the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 5:45 p.m. for Bucks County.
The NWS reports the Bucks County tornado started in Wrightstown Township and ended in Newtown – going about four miles. Peak winds are estimated to have reached 105 mph, according to the NWS.
A tornado warning is issued for Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties, and Philadelphia until 5:50 p.m.
At 11:53 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued a tornado watch in effect until Saturday at midnight for Bucks County.
