Indian authorities will be sending the damaged black box of the doomed Boeing 787 Dreamliner to the US National Safety Transport Board (NTSB) for further investigation into the Air India plane crash

Ahmedabad: A “severely damaged” black box retrieved from the wrecked Air India Flight AI171 may soon be flown abroad, most likely to the United States, for advanced forensic recovery, as per reports. Initial attempts to decode the flight data locally have did not yield enough information, given the charred condition of the device.
