Reason being my wife would like to get a pregnancy pictorial and the experience of seeing a super bloom as well. My question is are the guest parking near any wildflower blooms? I would forget about the falls unless your wife is very energetic. Also be careful, there are very few trails so you end up walking through the flowers - very nice - however easy to get lost …

Also be careful, there are very few trails so you end up walking through the flowers - very nice - however easy to get lost despite its flatness. Additionally you need to buy a permit from Fish and Game .,,google CDFW Lands Pass to buy online The good news - I’ve heard it’s close to peak flowers.... heading up myself soon.

I went last year on 04APR, when the flowers were in full bloom. This has been a cool year, so I plan to go then or a week following. There is no "trail" to the largest waterfall. When leaving the parking lot, proceed NW and you will find it in an hour. Look on a map and use your navigation skills.
