I will be traveling with a small child.Does this 2 hour boat ride stop off anywhere for a bathroom break? Are there toilets on the boat? Does anyone know if there is a shorter boat ride.

Are you able to take bags on the boat? I'll have my camera on a strap around my neck, and a couple of lenses/snacks in a rucksack. Am I better off leaving the bag in a locker in Kyoto?

You are allowed to bring your backpack/ bag on the boat, better pack light as the boat ride can be pretty packed.
